Once upon a teardrop

I cried until my heart broke

My tears grew into an ocean

And I felt pain I never knew existed

But in the distance I saw the shores of

Forgiveness and Love

I saw the light of Hope and Truth

And I knew I must go there

Out of the angry sea of my tears that had

Held me captive

Exhausted by my battles I found a Savior

Waiting for me

With open arms He welcomed my into His Love

And calmed my churning sea with a word

I traded my world of death for Life Eternal

Now I see the brilliance of His mercy and I am there
